How to Unlock Your Domain for Transfer

Before transferring your domain to another registrar, you must unlock it. This guide will show you how to disable the Registrar Lock from your client area.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to Your Client Portal
  2. Access the Domain Management Section
    • Navigate to the Domains section in your client area.
  3. Select the Domain to Unlock
    • Click on the domain you want to unlock.On the Domain Details page, look for the Registrar Lock option as shown below:
  4. Disable the Registrar Lock
    • Click on the Registrar Lock link.You will see a Domain Lock Settings page, like this:
    • Change the Registrar Lock option to Off from the dropdown menu.
    • Click the Save Changes button to apply the changes.
  5. Verify the Unlock Status
    • Once saved, the domain will be unlocked and eligible for transfer.
